Cheryl's Make & Take

I went to J's Knicknacks this past Saturday while Cheryl was doing a Dandelion Design's Make & Take. She used a Hero Art's Woodgrain stamp with the new VersaMark Dazzle inkpad to do the outer part. Inner stamps are again from Dandelion Design's. Aren't they the cutest? Cheryl also had samples of some other cards using the new Spellbinders and the glue pad.

Awesome RAKS from Teri's summer social

Hi all-

I am a bit behind in my thank you's from Teri's test run of a summer social. Again, I can't believe that I did it but I went and took pictures without putting in the memory card. Duh, Janis. Surprisingly, I found it in the internal memory all by myself after I figured out that you had to turn the camera on while hooking it up to the USB. Hope so, because most of the RAKS are in my tummy. Gee, I thought that the humidity today was getting to me but I guess that I survived.

First is a delicious RAK from Cheryl of Life is Sweet.

Next, is another yummy RAK from Kyoko of Cards and Tags Mania.

This is a beautiful craft hanging by Ali of Everyday Celebrations. I have it in a perfect spot on my wall.

Finally, last but certainly not least, I received the most beautiful Twilight gift from Jamee of Pink Beach Ball. OMG, I was tempted to open my gift on the spot but I behaved. She did a countdown to New Moon calendar with a daily quote. And Twilight chocolate bars, yummy!!! He's like Pocket Edward, he travels to and from work with me.

I want to send a big thank you to the Rosario family for being so gracious. Danny, having it in his shop and telling me to park my car closer 'cuz I parked in the farthest corner. And to Barbie and their daughter Sunny, thanks for hosting all of us crafting ladies. I have more photos to post tomorrow. Gotta go look at my memory card now. Sheesh! August OCS

My OCS partner this month enjoys things from TAJ clubhouse so I stopped by Cute Stuff and picked up a stamp when I went to get my other supplies. Used a cardstock called Cherry Red, also from Cute Stuff and Imaginsce DSP. I really had fun using this stamp since it brought back fond memories of when I first started rubber stamping about 10 years ago when I think that was one of the few stamp brands that I ever used. Now I'm like a kid in a candy store, trying out all these new & exciting brands. I used my SU! Scallop punch to create a border effect.

For those of you that are not getting my post updates, I just tried to resave all of my settings. Please let me know if you are still experiencing technical difficulty. Have a happy hump day!

Volunteer card

One of my summer volunteer/interns is leaving as she heads off to Smith college as a Freshman. I just wanted to make a local type card to say thank you and good luck. I just kept it simple and couldn't resist the pink Disney paper and a Sweetie.

Hello all~

First of all, I'd like to apologize for not blogging for a week. I was merrily taking pictures then realized that my memory card was still in the reader. Sigh. I tried to find it on the internal memory but finally retook the missing photos.

Next, I'd like to send a big thank you to Claudette of Islander Girl Stampin' for the beautiful blog layout that I received with my sweetie. I was the lucky winner of her contest as she has redesigned her layout.

Finally, I have received a card from my August partner of Teri's one card swap, Gail Woo.

Yay, hurricane downgraded

Sorry everyone for no post for awhile. I was busy shopping. Lost my credit card after doing my nails yesterday. Bummer. Called the 800 number and now have to wait 7-10 business days for my new card.

I have a bunch of unfinished projects to work on. Hopefully, I be able to finish them up now that I'm all stocked up for the storm, that's been downgraded. Thanks for being so patient & have a super week!!!

Birthday Wishes

Another month has past us. And, for us in Hawaii, it's usually the hottest month with record breaking temperatures in the past years. I'm sure it's going to be a fabulous month because we are starting it off with a BANG!
